The 5 Types of Music Fans

We all enjoy listening to good music, we have our favorite bands and artists but is it possible that some enjoy and love music more than others? Here are the 5 types of music fans you probably know or will meet soon enough.

 

The Obsessive fan

This type of fan lives in a world of his own, as he tries to get the star's numbers or email address, he camps outside his house and basically he's on the thin line between groupies to stalkers. You will find this type of fan in the front row of every concert (if not on stage).

 

The lifestyle adopter

This type of fan actually "lives" it. He will see his favorite artist wear something and the next day he'll wear it himself. This fan will talk like, walk like, look like and even behave like his favorite star. If only his bank account was like the star's account, it would have been much better.

 

The media consumer

This type of fan will buy the album, have a great display at home, will go to the concert, buy the T-shirt, the boxed set and basically will collect anything that associated with his favorite band or music star, whether it has any value or even if it is worthless, because to him it's priceless.

 

The dipper

This type of fan knows what's going on generally and from time to time dips in to something. He may go to a concert once in a while or download the album when he feels like it, but a die-hard fan he is not.

 

The oblivious accident

This type of fan doesn't keep in touch with anything in particular. Yet, he manages somehow to consume something musical once in a while. This type of fan will hear a song at work; he'll like it and then decide to buy the cd.
