Ten Years After are a British blues rock band that was formed in 1966 in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

The band was most popular during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and between 1968 and 1973, Ten Years After scored eight Top 40 albums on the UK Albums ChartIn addition the band had also achieved twelve albums that entered the US Billboard 200 chart.

The band's song "I'd Love to Change the World" was written by Alvin Lee, who was the centerpiece of the band. The song is a good look at what were considered the big problems in the world in 1971: Pollution, economic inequality, war, overpopulation.

In later interviews, Alvin Lee often said that the song remained just as relevant despite the passage of time.
