Taco (real name: Taco Ockerse) is an Indonesian-born Dutch singer and entertainer. He started his career in Germany and is also known for his version to the song 'Puttin' on the Ritz.'

The song 'Puttin' on the Ritz' was originally written in 1929 by legendary composer Irving Berlin. The song famously became a hit for Fred Astaire in 1946 when Astaire performed it in the movie Blue Skies.

Taco actually pays homage to Fred Astaire in the song by including a tap-dance solo in the middle of his version to the song. The expression "Puttin' on the Ritz" means to dress fashionably. It comes from the upscale Ritz-Carlton hotel company.

The success of Taco's version and cover to the song made Irvin Berlin, who was 95 years old at the time, the oldest living songwriter ever with a single in the Top 10 of The Hot 100.
