Jennifer Paige is an American singer and songwriter that is best known for her pop hit song "Crush" from 1998.
The song "Crush" was inspired by Paige's personal experiences and observations in her love life. There have been claims that the song was written for Joey Fatone ('N Sync) as she was dating him at the time. However, Paige said that the two were never in a relationship.
The rumors started as Paige and Fatone used to run into each other a lot during TV appearances and concerts. One day, Jennifer Paige was given a Superman ring, and as Fatone is known to collect Superman stuff, he said that it was Paige's engagement ring.
