Enjoy!

The Four Tops are a vocal quartet that was formed in 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. The group helped define the city's Motown sound of the 1960s, and their repertoire has included soul music, jazz, disco, R&B, doo-wop, adult contemporary and show tunes.

One of The Four Tops' most famous and successful songs is "Reach Out I'll Be There", that was written by the Motown songwriting team of Eddie Holland, Lamont Dozier and Brian Holland.

Lamont Dozier explained that he, Brian and Eddie often had discussions about what women really want most of all from a man, and after talking about some of their experiences with women, the three of them agreed that they wanted someone to be there for them, through thick or thin. They recorded the song in just two takes, and had forgotten about the song until it was released.
