Bush are an English rock band that was formed in 1992 in London, England, with current lineup consists of Gavin Rossdale (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Chris Traynor (lead guitar), Robin Goodridge (drums) and Corey Britz (bass).

Bush was founded when Gavin Rossdale met guitarist Nigel Pulsford (past band member) in a London nightclub and both discovered common musical ground, among them are Jane's Addiction, Nirvana and The Pixies.

Bush band members used to live in Shepherd's Bush in West London, hence the name of the band Bush. In 1993, Bush were signed by Rob Kahane's Trama Records, but the band's debut album was released only in 1994. So, until that time, the band members had to take day jobs.

When Bush's album Sixteen Stone was released, it has sold more than 6 million copies, and is now certified 6X multi-platinum by the RIAA.

Bush have had numerous top 10 singles on the Billboard rock charts, as well as one No.1 album, Razorblade Suitcase from 1996. The band went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990s, as they sold more than 10 million records in the US and 20 million records worldwide.
