Enjoy!

Bobby Brown (real name: Robert Barisford Brown) is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer and actor. He began his music career in the R&B and pop band New Edition, from 1978 up until he left the band in 1985 and started his own solo career.

When Bobby Brown's second album, Don't Be Cruel, topped the US chart in 1989, he was just a few weeks shy of his 20th birthday. This made Brown only the fourth teenager that had a No.1 album in America, following Stevie Wonder, Ricky Nelson and Tiffany.

Another interesting fact about Bobby Brown, is that in 1989, he actually made his own 900-number: 1-900-909-BOBB. Callers would be greeted (for a fee) by a different goofy message from Bobby Brown each day. At its peak, the number got about 12,000 calls a day.

Bobby Brown scored a string of top 10 hits on different Billboard charts between the years 1986-1993. He is also noted as a pioneer of new jack swing, a fusion of hip-hop and R&B. He was nominated twice for the Grammy Award and won once for Best R&B Vocal Performance for the song "Every Little Step."

Bobby Brown Brown was married to singer Whitney Houston, with whom he had daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. The two eventually divorced in 2007.
