Enjoy!

Kiss is an American rock band that was formed in 1973 in New York City by Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

Kiss is known for the face paint and stage outfits that their members wear during shows and concerts. They rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1970s with their live performances, that featured things like blood-spitting, fire breathing, smoking guitars, levitating drum kits, shooting rockets and pyrotechnics.

The band has gone through different changes in its' lineup, with the only original members left are Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. The two formed Kiss after they fired all members of their first band, Wicked Lester. Simmons and Stanley then found Peter Criss and Ace Frehley using ads in Rolling Stone and The Village Voice. That's how Kiss actually formed.

As for their face paint, each band member represents a characther. Gene Simmons is the demon, Paul Stanley is the star child, Peter Criss is the cat, Ace Frehley is the spaceman and Eric Carr was the fox.

Kiss is one of the best-selling bands in the history of rock music. They have sold over 75 million records all over the world, including 21 million RIAA-certified albums. In 2014, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The song "I Was Made For Lovin' You" by Kiss was written by Paul Stanley along with hit songwriter Desmond Child and producer Vini Poncia in an effort to prove how easy it was to write a disco song.

"I Was Made For Lovin' You" became a huge hit, sold more than a million copies and also became a concert favorite. Even though being a concert favorite, Gene Simmons said in an interview that he hates performing this song because he has to croon "Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do" high like a girl, and according to him, he prefers to sing "guy stuff."
