Babylon Zoo were an English rock band that was formed in Wolverhampton in 1992 and are most known for their successful single "Spaceman."

The band's song "Spaceman" was their biggest selling single in the UK in 1996 and became EMI's fastest selling single since "She Loves You" by The Beatles, selling 418,000 copies in its first 6 days after release, thanks to the use of this song in a LEVI'S jeans advertisement.

"Spaceman" is about a visiting alien being true to himself and not falling for peer pressure. The song also led to Babylon Zoo being considered a one hit wonder, and had little success with other releases.
