SunFest

 

When: April 29 to May 3

Where: Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida

Lineup: Wilco, Sammy Hagar, Paramore, 311, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Stone Temple Pilots, Boston, Fallout Boy and Pixies.

In addition to the musical lineup, SunFest promises to deliver plenty of time soaking up some rays in addition to a juried craft show, the Captain Morgan Floating Oasis, serving plenty of rum-filled drinks, radio parties with house DJs, a pairings food and wine event in Downtown Palm Beach restaurants (an additional fee), family activities that include the Xfinity Kid Zone where little ones can get their faces painted and families can hang out far from the daytime cocktails and the TGI5K on Friday that will get everyone in shape before grooving out to some tunes and drinking some free brews.

Rock in Rio

 

When: May 8th and 9th, May 15th and 16th

Carolina Country Music Festival

WE Fest 2015

Liverpool Sound City

FortaRock

 

When: June 6th

Where: Goffertpark, Nijmegen, Netherlands

This one-day festival in Goffert Park is preceded by a smaller version closer to the city. Fans of heavy metal and hard rock can gather here to convene and rock hard. Previous bands have included Rammstein and Motorhead. Festival tickets are expected to sell fast for this anticipated festival.

Sweden Rock Festival

Lovers of hard rock flock to Blekinge during the summer—and they have since 1992. The festival showcases bands that fall under the heavy rock, metal, classic rock and blues genres. The festival originally started by showcasing folk, ballads, rock, hard rock and blues and eventually morphed to the heavy genres when the festival featured Lynyrd Skynyrd.
