Enjoy!

Styx is an American rock band from Chicago. They were formed in 1972 and found fame thanks to their albums released in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Styx is known for melding hard rock guitar balanced with acoustic guitar, synthesizers mixed with acoustic piano, upbeat tracks with power ballads, and incorporating elements of international musical theatre.

The band started out with a progressive rock sound, but decided to break through with a more mainstream arena rock sound.

Unlike many rock terms, arena rock was coined by concert promoters, and not radio programmers, as promoters found that they could fill large concert venues with particular progressive and metal bands.

Styx is best known for hit songs like: "Mr. Roboto", "Come Sail Away", "Lady", "Babe", "Too Much Time on My Hands" and "The Best of Times". Styx has had 4 consecutive albums certified multi-platinum by the RIAA, as well as 16 top 40 singles in USA, 8 of them reaching the top 10.
