John Lennon Still Hangs Around with The Beatles After His Death

In 1995, Paul MacCartney, Ringo Star and George Harrison went into a studio in order to add their voices to an old demo of John Lennon titled "Free As A Bird." After the recordings, they've decided to pose for a photo outside the studio and just before the photographer snapped the shutter and took the picture, a white peacock wandered into the shot.

MacCartney immediately said: "Thtat's John, spooky, eh? It was like John was hanging around. We felt that all through the recording."

MacCartney added later on that the band members put a backwards recording at the end of the single just as a joke and when MacCartney listened one night to the finished recording, he claimed that in the middle of the otherwise indecipherable garble, you can clearly hear the words "Joooohn Lennnnnon."

Whether true or an urban legend, it's still both spooky in a way and very interesting. I think it's time to listen to the single now…Maybe Lennon will fly right past us…
