Did You Know? The Black Eyed Peas Have Been Sued For Copyright Infringement 3 TimesFebruary 7, 2014

The Black Eyed Peas is known and loved worldwide but did you know that they have been sued 3 times in one year? The first lawsuit was lifted by hip-hop duo Phoenix Phenom because they claimed that The Black Eyed Peas ripped off their tune "Boom Dynamite", saying they've submitted it one year before the Peas recorded their "Boom Boom Pow" song.

The second lawsuit against the Peas came from funk legend George Clinton which stated that the Peas sampled his own 1979 song titled "(Not Just) Knee Deep" in a remix of their song "Shut Up", doing so without his permission.

The third and last lawsuit (so far) against The Black Eyed Peas came from musician Bryan Pringle who claimed the Peas stole from a song off his demo called "Take A Dive". This tune is similar to "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas, and all this makes you wonder a little bit about The Black Eyed Peas, doesn't it?

I guess we'll have to wait and see if more lawsuits are on their way and until then, enjoy the Peas' funky and happy music and decide for yourselves.
