Dave Grohl is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and believe it or not, a film director.
He was the drummer for the grunge band Nirvana and currently is the frontman and founder of the rock band Foo Fighters.
Dave Grohl is also the drummer and co-founder of the rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. Dave is extremely talented, writing the music and performing with all the instruments for his short-lived side projects Late! and Probot.
He has also recorded and toured frequently with the rock band Queens of the Stone Age over the past decade, and played drums on several tracks on the Nine Inch Nails album With Teeth from 2005, so you can say that Dave Grohl is pretty busy.
Before all of this and before joining Nirvana, Dave Grohl began his music career in the 80s, as the drummer for several Washington, DC area bands like the punk band Scream.
John Bonham, the drummer for Led Zeppelin was a big influence on Grohl, who had Bonham's logo tattooed on his wrist.
